DJI Mavic Air
DJI’s latest consumer drone: the Mavic Air is the perfect combination of the successful Mavic Pro and the Spark. The obvious similarities being the Mavic Pro hinged arm design that allows it to fold up for easy transport ― and the Spark’s lightweight and compact design. This ultraportable and foldable drone features the latest technology for maximum flight performance and functionality. There are a total of seven cameras and IR sensors onboard that help the Mavic Air keep an eye of nearby objects and terrain. DJI says it is the most portable DJI drone to house a 3-axis mechanical gimbal. This gimbal is housed with advance dampeners to help produce steadier shots.
The Mavic Air shoots video at an incredible 4K 30 fps, recording at 100 Mbps to capture every second with UHD quality. This camera is also able to support slow-motion video recording at 1080p 120 fps. In addition to Horizontal, Vertical, and 180° panoramas, the Mavic Air stitches 25 photos together in just eight seconds to create crystal-clear 32 MP Sphere panoramas. DJI didn’t stop there. The HDR algorithms help you obtain the right exposure settings intelligently, according to lighting conditions. Overexposed or dark areas are processed for more natural transitions between highlights and shadows, while DSP acceleration allows for more efficient shooting.
The Mavic Air is one of the best entry-level drones that performs great in the air and is capable of capturing excellent photos and video. It’s also perfect for traveling photographers and videographers that want to travel light.
